EXE 387 Gait Analysis

In this study, we wanted to see if the gait of an individual changed whether they had a weight front load or whether they had a weighted back load. What we found was that individuals took shorter strides with the front load opposed to when they had a back load.

EXE 341 Grant Proposal

During the class EXE 341, we looked into different aspects and facilities that supply health needs. We were challenged to create our own fictional facility that would encompass all aspects of health needs. "The Health Park" as we named it, contained a gym, different clinics for PT and AT, a weight room, nutrion bar, and a physicians office. While the goal of this health park was to encompass all aspects of health needs, we still wanted to envision a fun atmosphere where the average person could simply workout.

BIO 114 Planaria Regeneration

During this project, we wanted to see the effects of alcohol on Planaria regeneration. While comparing the effects of regeneration in an environment of water and then alcohol, we found that alcohol did not have any relative effect on the regeneration speeds of Planaria. This could have been because of the dosage of alcohol was too little, or it could have been because we did not have a large enough pool of data.

RESEARCH

Caffeine's Effect on Short Term Memory Recall

This particular research was conducted during the classes EXE 401 and 402. Over the course of two semesters, my partners and I developed a study to see the effects of caffeine on short-term memory recall. We found that caffeine did not have a significant positive effect on short-term memory recall. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we were not able to present our research.
